Chinese Copper Bronze Boy & Girl on Pumpkins FengShui Prosperity Wealth Statue

This beautiful piece was bought by me on a trip to China. It depicts a boy and a girl playing on two pumpkins. According to Chinese believe, the gold color of pumpkins comes from the Earth's energy and according to Feng Shui owning pumpkins attracts good luck, prosperity and abundance. When children are depicted on pumpkins, they have the additional meaning of providing the owner with happy, healthy children. The figurine is very heavy (2.5 lbs) and shows intricate details. The piece has no openings, but when you shake it, you can hear something small and possibly metal moving inside. I always assumed it's an additional pumpkin seed for an extra portion of good luck.
